This whole hat story started about 15 years ago while shopping at the Spectrum Shopping Mall in Irvine, CA with Gene, my husband of 42 years.

Gene said “Wait, Look in that window. Let’s go inside”. I said, “No Way, I’m not going in a size 2 store.” Then he said, “Look up on the wall” And there it was! I loved it! He said, “Try it on - oh! You look so good in it”.  I smiled and he bought it for me! I put it on and I must have gotten 10 compliments that day. Then I only wore it for special occasions. Now I wear it a lot!

So the story goes on with the hat. After I retired from my business, WOLDEN Multimedia Institute I found a website called  http://video.seesmic.com I fell in love with the people and made 17,000 video’s there in about 1 years. Now I am about to hit 20,000 videos.

In the picture above are some of my friends I met when the owner of Seesmic, Loic (right) sent for me, all expenses paid, to come up to San Francisco and be a special guest at an event they were having. I had a wonderful time and I love this picture they took. Alfonso, Darius and Loic with the San Francisco backdrop make for a great picture and a wonderful memory! Thank you Loic!

Anyway, I had so many people say they love my hat and they want one that I thought I start ‘Freida’s Hat’.

Now I’m a semi-retired Entrepreneur enjoying life!
